The Zu Mountain Saga
''The Zu Mountain Saga'' ( zh, t=蜀山奇俠之仙侶奇緣) was a 20-episode Hong Kong television drama series that aired on Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) Cantonese-language Jade Channel between 22 July and 16 August 1991. Starring local actors, it was a loose sequel to ''The Gods and Demons of Zu Mountain'' () that aired in 1990. Synopsis The story take place a hundred years after ''The Gods and Demons of Zu Mountain''. Evil has been reborn in the Zu Mountain, who is ostracized by his village, as a demon. Lau Kong () is a Hong Kong actor who worked on the network TVB. Biography Little is known of Lau's private life, but he has been acting since 1976, when he first joined the now defunct network Commercial Television, he later joined RTV (now ATV, Lau would be an actor there from 1979-1982. Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong SAR. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. TVB is headquartered at TVB City at the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. TVB commenced broadcasting on November 19, 1967.
