''The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling'' is an American documentary film that premiered on HBO in two parts on March 26 and 27, 2018. Peter James Tolan III (born July 5, 1958) is an American television producer, director, and screenwriter. Early life and career Tolan was born in Scituate, Massachusetts, where he was a perennial favorite in the high school's dramatic productions.
