''Like Father, Like Son'', also known as ''The Young Sinner'', is a 1961 American film written, produced and directed by and starring Tom Laughlin. The film was shot in 1961 but not released until 1965 as part of a double feature with ''A Swingin' Summer''. A name used for trailers was "Among the Thorns", and a working title for the film was "We Are All Christ". Tom Laughlin
Thomas Robert Laughlin Jr. (August 10, 1931 – December 12, 2013) was an American actor, director, screenwriter, author, educator, and activist. Laughlin was best known for his series of ''Billy Jack'' films. He was married to actress Delores Taylor from 1954 until his death. Taylor co-produced and acted in all four ''Billy Jack'' films. His unique promotion of ''The Trial of Billy Jack'' (TV trailers during national news and an "opening day" nationwide release) was a major influence on the way films are marketed. In the early 1960s, Laughlin put his film career on hiatus to start a Montessori preschool in Santa Monica, California; it became the largest school of its kind in the United States. She is best known for her role as Jennifer Hart on the mystery television series ''Hart to Hart'' (1979–1984), for which she received nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards. Sheldon "Shelly" Manne (June 11, 1920 – September 26, 1984) was an American jazz drummer. ''A Swingin' Summer'' is a 1965 comedy film in the beach party genre. It was directed and co-written by Robert Sparr. Raquel Welch stars in her first featured film role and makes her singing debut in the film. Synopsis A trio of college kids – all friends of each other – attempt to insure summer jobs for themselves by becoming concert promoters at a lakeside dance pavilion that is in danger of closing. Maurice William Elias (December 23, 1936September 9, 2016), known professionally as James Stacy, was an American film and television actor. He is perhaps best known for starring in the late 1960s TV western ''Lancer''. In 1973, Stacy was hit by a drunk driver while driving his motorcycle, resulting in the amputation of his left leg and arm and the death of his girlfriend. He returned to acting in 1975 before retiring in 1992. Chris Robinson (born November 5, 1938) is an American actor, screenwriter, and film director, sometimes credited as Christopher Robinson. Career Robinson began his career as an actor in the 1950s.
