The X Factor Israel
''The X Factor Israel'' ( he, אקס פקטור ישראל) is the Israeli version of the British television music competition ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show started airing fall of 2013 on Reshet. Judges and hosts The first three seasons were hosted by Israeli fashion model Bar Refaeli. hosts the fourth season. Its judges for the first season of the show were rock singer Rami Fortis, pop singer-songwriter and composer Moshe Peretz, pop and R&B singer Shiri Maimon, and pop singer Ivri Lider. In the third season, rapper Subliminal replaced Rami Fortis as a judge on the show. In the fourth season, all of the judging panel changes: Mizrahi singer Margalit Tzan'ani, singer-songwriter Aviv Geffen, singer and Eurovision 2018 winner Netta Barzilai, while a fourth and fifth judges revealed to be Ran Danker and Miri Mesika, making it the first season of ''X Factor Israel'' to feature 5 judges instead of 4. '' The X Factor Israel'' is the Israeli version of the British television music competition ''The X Factor''. Season 1 was first announced in late 2012. Auditions for the show began on March 5, 2013. Promos for the show started airing in early September. The first season started its run on Saturday, October 26, 2013. The show airs during prime time on Reshet network on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Shiri Maimon
Shiri Maimon (or Maymon, he, שירי מימון ; born ) is an Israeli pop/ R&B singer, TV show host and actress, who rose to fame as the runner-up in the TV show ''Kokhav Nolad''. She represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, where she came fourth. In 2008 Maimon won Best Israeli Act and performed in the MTV Europe Music Awards, where she was also nominated for Europe's Favorite Act. In June 2013 Maimon became one of the judges for the first season of '' The X Factor Israel''. She continued her role for the second and third seasons. On 2018 It was revealed that Maimon would leave the show in favor of the rival network show, '' Rising Star Israel''. Ivri Lider ( he, עברי לידר) is an Israeli pop star and part of the duo TYP, also known as The Young Professionals. He served as a judge on the first season of '' The X Factor Israel''. Music career In October 2005 Lider received the "Male Singer of the Year" award from all the major national and local radio stations. He composed most of the soundtrack for the movie '' The Bubble'', and sings the song "Loving That Man of Mine". In 2008 Lider launched a new Hebrew album and announced an upcoming English album. Rami Fortis ( he, רמי פורטיס, , born July 7, 1954), or simply Fortis, is an Israeli rock singer. Born in Tel Aviv, Fortis became known as a pioneer of Israeli punk rock. His debut album ''Plonter'', released in 1978, was not a commercial success at the time, though today it is considered an influential cult album. His fame in Israel came with the release of a Hebrew language album, ''Sipurim Me'hakufsa (Tales from the Box)'', in 1988. Due to his behaviour on stage he was nicknamed The Madman (HaMeshuga). Moshe Peretz
Moshe Haim Peretz ( he, משה פרץ; born 10 May 1983) is an Israeli Mizrahi music pop singer-songwriter and composer. Beginning in 2013, Peretz acted as judge for the The X Factor Israel. Early life Peretz was born and raised in Tiberias, Israel, to Sephardic Jewish parents. His father was of Moroccan-Jewish origin and his mother was of Iraqi-Jewish origin. Peretz started singing as a poet in a synagogue in Tiberias at the age of 13 and began to compose songs. At the age of 18 Peretz was enlisted as a soldier to the Israel Defense Forces.
