''The X Factor'' was a New Zealand television reality music competition, originating from the The X Factor (UK TV series), original UK series and based on the The X Factor (Australian TV series), Australian ''The X Factor'' production format. The show began in 2013 and was open to anyone aged 14 and over. The winner was signed to Sony Music Entertainment New Zealand. The contestants were split into the show's four traditional categories: Boys, Girls, Over 25s and Groups. From the second series, bands were also able to enter in the group category. The show was cancelled in 2017, with MediaWorks confirming that the format rights to the show had expired. ''Australian Idol'' is an Australian singing competition, which began its first season in July 2003 and ended its initial run in November 2009. The Māori (, ) are the indigenous Polynesian people of mainland New Zealand (). All Saints (group)
All Saints are an English girl group formed in London in 1993. They were founded as All Saints 1.9.7.5 by music manager Ron Tom, who later also founded Sugababes, with members Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Simone Rainford. Natalia Noemi "Teddy" Sinclair (née Cappuccini; born 15 August 1986), is an English singer, songwriter and actress. NZ On Air (NZOA; mi, Irirangi te Motu), formally the Broadcasting Commission, is an autonomous Crown entity and commission of the New Zealand Government responsible for funding support for broadcasting and creative works.
