The X Factor (Australia) Discography
The discography of ''The X Factor Australia'' consists of music releases from contestants of the show. While some contestants have been signed to record labels, others have released their music independently. Since season one, contestants have achieved commercial success on the Australian ARIA Charts, with thirteen top-ten albums (including three number-ones), eighteen top-ten songs (including five number-ones), and twenty-nine platinum and thirteen gold certifications. Eleven acts have charted outside Australia, most notably Mastin and season two winner Altiyan Childs who have both reached the top ten in New Zealand with their albums and singles, and season five winner Dami Im whose albums and singles have charted in South Korea. Altiyan Childs
Altijan Juric (born 10 June 1975), best known by his stage name Altiyan Childs, is an Australian singer-songwriter. He was the winner of the second season of ''The X Factor Australia'' in 2010, and subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia. His debut single " Somewhere in the World" reached the top-ten in Australia and New Zealand and his self-titled debut album peaked at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart; and was certified platinum. His second studio album ''Born Before the Sun'' was released in September 2015, and was preceded by the release of six singles. In 2016 he played the title role in a Queensland production of ''Jesus Christ Superstar''. Dami Im
Dami Im ( , , ; born October 17, 1988) is a South Korean-born Australian singer and songwriter. She represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 held in Stockholm, Sweden with the song " Sound of Silence", placing second and achieving the highest Eurovision Song Contest score for Australia. Im emigrated to Australia from South Korea with her family at the age of nine. She won the fifth season of ''The X Factor Australia'' and subsequently received a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. In 2020 she left Sony Music and signed with ABC Music. After winning ''The X Factor'', Im released her debut and winner's single "Alive", which debuted at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart. Vince Harder
Vince Harder (born c.1982) is a New Zealand R&B/ pop recording artist and producer. His most notable song to date is "Everything", which reached number one in New Zealand on the New Zealand Singles Chart in 2008. In May 2010, he released the single "Say This With Me" which peaked at number 39 on the singles chart. As of June 2015, he has released the new single "Find Love" as well as a music video. ''Altiyan Childs'' is the self-titled debut studio album by 2010 '' X Factor Australia'' winner Altiyan Childs. The album was released in Australia on 10 December 2010. It features selected songs that Childs performed as part of the top twelve on ''The X Factor'', including the winner's single " Somewhere in the World". The song was made available for download following his win on the ''X Factor'' on 22 November 2010. "Somewhere in the World" debuted on the ARIA Singles Chart at number eight and also made its debut in New Zealand at number five. Random were a five-member Australian R&B vocal group formed in 2005 by Xylocaine "Xy" Latu, Wayne Tauvao, Tasesa Junior "TJ" Tauvao, Donald Tauvao and Andy-Iese "Jesse" Tolo-Paepae. Random were the winners of the first season of ''The X Factor'' (Australia); they were also the first (of five worldwide) group to win the franchise.
