The World Of Hammer
''The World of Hammer'' is a British television documentary series created and written by Robert Sidaway and Ashley Sidaway, and produced by Robert Sidaway. Narrated by Oliver Reed, the thirteen part series was produced in 1990 and originally broadcast on Channel 4 in 1994. It followed the same format as the creator's previous series on the history of British cinema, Best Of British, by looking at the films of Hammer Film Productions on a thematic basis. Episodes 1. ''Scars of Dracula'' is a 1970 British horror film directed by Roy Ward Baker for Hammer Films. It stars Christopher Lee as Count Dracula, along with Dennis Waterman, Jenny Hanley, Patrick Troughton, and Michael Gwynn. Although disparaged by some critics, the film does restore a few elements of Bram Stoker's original character: the Count is introduced as an "icily charming host;" he has command over nature; and he is seen scaling the walls of his castle. ''Twins of Evil'' (also known as ''Twins of Dracula'') is a 1971 British horror film directed by John Hough and starring Peter Cushing, with Damien Thomas and the real-life identical twins and former ''Playboy'' Playmates Mary and Madeleine Collinson.
