The Witch's House
is a freeware puzzle-oriented horror game by the Japanese game creator Fummy (ふみー), created using the software, ''RPG Maker VX''. The game was first released in October 2012, for Windows computers. Fummy later released a prequel novel titled, ''"The Witch's House: The Diary Of Ellen,"'' serving as the in-game diary of the game antagonist Ellen. Starting in 2017, the novel was adapted into a nine-part manga series of the same name illustrated by Yuna Kagesaki, and then condensed into two ''tankōbon'' volumes. Gameplay The game is a survival horror game in which the main goal is to solve all puzzles correctly and escape the witch's house. It contains a creepy atmosphere, complex riddles and jump scares. This game is played from bird's-eye view using ornate 16-bit graphics, and controlled via keyboard. is a version of PC program RPG Maker series. It has been superseded by ''RPG Maker VX Ace'', which is an improved and enhanced version of RPG Maker VX. Both ''RPG Maker VX'' and ''RPG Maker VX Ace'' are developed by Enterbrain, following its predecessor, RPG Maker XP. RPG Maker VX follows the naming pattern present in previous RPG Maker releases by having a suffix based on the Windows versions the software was designed for (in this case, Windows Vista and Windows XP). Nintendo Switch Games
The Nintendo Switch is a video game console developed by Nintendo, for which games are released both in physical and digital formats. Physical games are sold on cartridges that slot into the Switch console unit.
