''The Windjammer'' is a 1926 American silent action film directed by Harry Joe Brown and starring Billy Sullivan, Thelma Hill and Billy Franey.Munden p.907 It was distributed by the independent Rayart Pictures, the forerunner of Monogram Pictures. Synopsis After graduating from college, Billy Tanner enters his family's old circus business. He becomes engaged in a running battle with a champion boxer who he is forced to fight. Harry Joe Brown
Harry Joe Brown (September 22, 1890 – April 28, 1972) was an American film producer, and earlier a theatre and film director. Biography Harry Joe Brown was born in 1890 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a producer, he had a partnership with director Budd Boetticher, actor Randolph Scott and screenwriter Burt Kennedy, which generated a series of five westerns between 1957 and 1960 (''The Tall T, Decision at Sundown, Buchanan Rides Alone, Ride Lonesome, Comanche Station'') via a company he created with Scott which eventually became known as Ranown Pictures Corp. He produced the American debut films of both Errol Flynn in '' Captain Blood'' and Sean Flynn in ''Son of Captain Blood''. The Romani (also spelled Romany or Rromani , ), colloquially known as the Roma, are an Indo-Aryan peoples, Indo-Aryan ethnic group, traditionally nomadic Itinerant groups in Europe, itinerants. Henry Roquemore
Henry Roquemore (March 18, 1886 – June 30, 1943) was an American character actor who primarily played bit parts. He appeared in 229 silent and sound films from 1927 until 1943. Many of his roles were uncredited parts in Western movies, but he also appeared in major films including ''Meet John Doe'', ''The Little Foxes'', ''The Magnificent Ambersons'', and the Marx Brothers film ''Yours for the Asking''. He was sometimes credited as Henry Rocquemore. Career Born in Marshall, Texas, Roquemore began his career in entertainment by staging local talent shows, for clubs in his hometown of Marshall, Texas. George Magrill
George Magrill (January 5, 1900 – May 31, 1952) was an American film actor who appeared in more than 320 films between 1923 and 1952. Magrill performed on stage before he began to work in films. Besides his acting, Magrill worked as a stunt man in films. He also served in the Navy and became a lightweight boxing champion in that service branch. Magrill was born in Brooklyn, New York, was married to Ramona Oliver, and had a daughter named Marilynn. On May 31, 1952, Magrill died in Los Angeles, California.
