''The Wheel'' is a British television game show hosted by Michael McIntyre, mainly broadcast on Saturday evenings on BBC One. Production McIntyre explained that he first thought of ideas for ''The Wheel'' while taking a bath, envisioning the idea of a "human roulette wheel". He pondered that there had been "so many talent shows" on British television, but not many "brand new" game shows. Seeking formats that could be easily produced under COVID-19 safety protocols such as social distancing (eased by design due to its large studio set at Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire), the BBC picked up ''The Wheel'' as a ''de facto'' substitute for McIntyre's variety show series ''Michael McIntyre's Big Show'' (which was not feasible to produce due to its heavy reliance on live audience participation). ''The Wheel'' is an American television game show hosted by Michael McIntyre that aired on NBC from December 19 to December 30, 2022. It is an adaptation of the British television series of the same name. Three contestants compete on each episode for a chance to win up to $180,000, drawing on the expertise of six celebrities in a variety of subjects. Gameplay Main game Six celebrities, each designated as an expert in a different subject, sit in chairs mounted on the outer edge of a large wheel on the main stage. They face toward the center, below which three contestants sit in chairs on a smaller wheel. This wheel is spun to choose a contestant at random, who is lifted to the main stage. Dubai TV is a TV channel offered by the Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI). It replaced Emirates Dubai Television on June 14, 2004. Dubai TV broadcasts programmes predominantly in Arabic. TV4 (Swedish TV Channel)
TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. Petra Maria Mede (; born 7 March 1970) is a Swedish comedian, dancer, actress and television presenter. She was born in Stockholm, and grew up in Gothenburg. Mede is known for her several roles in comic shows and as a television presenter. Juan Ramón "Juanra" Bonet Alba (born 6 June 1974) is a Spanish television presenter, actor and comedian. He has presented the Antena 3 game show '' ¡Boom!'' since 2014. SBS6 is a Dutch free-to-cable commercial TV channel and is a part of Talpa TV, formerly known as SBS Broadcasting B.V. and now owned by Talpa Network. Other channels of the group in the Netherlands are Net5, Veronica, and SBS9. History SBS stands for Scandinavian Broadcasting System. After dropping from law studies, he began his career as a host on local radio in the Paris region in the late 1980s.
