''The Walking Dead'' franchise is an American zombie apocalypse media franchise and a shared universe that is centered on a number of interconnected television series based on the comic book of the same name. Set in the fictional universe, the franchise has developed with crossover plot elements, settings, and characters that span four live-action television series, as well as eight live-action web series. The series aired on AMC and AMC+. The comic book was adapted into the first television series, which debuted in October 2010. It was followed by '' Fear the Walking Dead'' in 2015. 1st Battalion, 9th Marines
The 1st Battalion 9th Marines (1/9) was an infantry battalion of the United States Marine Corps. Formed during World War I, it served until the mid-2000s when it was deactivated to make room for one of three light armor reconnaissance battalions. During the Vietnam War, 1/9 sustained the highest casualty rate in Marine Corps history. This earned them the nickname "The Walking Dead". In late 2005, the battalion was reactivated and attached to the 8th Marine Regiment at MCB Camp Lejeune. Although the first full company has deployed, 1/9 was not expected to be ready for deployment as a battalion until May 2008. On 19 April 2007, 1/9 was officially stood up with all of its subordinate units fully manned. As of 29 August 2014 the battalion has been deactivated due to a force shaping initiative and downsizing of the Marine Corps. ''Broadcast to the World'' is the sixth studio album released by American punk rock band Zebrahead. The album was influenced by Lit's '' A Place in the Sun'' (1999). It is their first album with new co-vocalist/rhythm guitarist Matty Lewis, who replaced former member Justin Mauriello after he left the group in late 2004. Shawn Harris of The Matches created the artwork for the album, and for the band's follow-up album, ''Phoenix''. Production ''Broadcast to the World'' was recorded at Maple Studios in Santa Ana, California, and Noise Factory in Fullerton, California, with Cameron Webb and the band as producers. Webb and Greg Bergdorf handled the recording; additional production was done by Marshall Altman and Bergdorf. Bergdorf and Sergio Chavez performed additional editing. Webb mixed the recordings, before the album was mastered by Brian Gardner at Bernie Grundman in Hollywood, California. ''The Warrior's Code'' is the fifth studio album by the Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys. Released in June 2005, it is also their bestselling. It features a dedication to Lowell's own "Irish" Micky Ward who is featured on the album's cover and is the subject of the album's title track. It is also their final record with Hellcat Records before moving to their own vanity label, Born & Bred Records. The album features one of the band's biggest and most well known singles, "I'm Shipping Up to Boston", which the band originally released on the " Fields of Athenry" single, although it was re-recorded for ''The Warrior's Code''. Zach Sciacca (born July 22, 1971), better known as DJ Z-Trip, is an American DJ and producer. He is a pioneer of the mashup movement. He was the 2009 recipient of the "America's Best DJ Award". As a producer he has worked with artists across different genres including LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Kasabian and Dan the Automator. As of 2012, he has also been featured as LL Cool J's touring DJ. He collaborated with Talib Kweli on the mixtape ''Attack the Block''. In 2012, Z-Trip launched a new mixer with Rane and Serato called the 62-Z. Life and career Z-Trip was born in Queens, New York, then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, as a teen.
