''The Wait'' is the seventh studio album by Australia vocal duo Vika and Linda Bull, released on 17 September 2021. It is their first album of original music since ''Love Is Mighty Close'' in 2002. In a statement, Linda Bull said "It took us three times to make this record, it kept getting delayed and we've been waiting 19 years to make this record... waiting for more songs. Vika and Linda, also known as Vika and Linda Bull, are an Australian vocal duo consisting of Vika Susan Bull (born 1966) and her younger sister, Linda Rose Bull . They came to prominence after singing backing vocals in Joe Camilleri's band The Black Sorrows from 1988. Anthony Newley
Anthony Newley (24 September 1931 – 14 April 1999) was an English actor, singer, songwriter, and filmmaker. A "latter-day British Al Jolson", he achieved widespread success in song, and on stage and screen. "One of Broadway's greatest leading men", from 1959 to 1962 he scored a dozen entries on the UK Top 40 chart, including two number one hits. Archibald William Roach (8 January 1956 – 30 July 2022) was an Australian singer, songwriter and Aboriginal Australian, Aboriginal activist.
