The Voice Of Korea (season 1)
''The Voice of Korea'' is a South Korean reality singing competition and local version of ''The Voice (franchise), The Voice'' first broadcast as ''The Voice of Holland''. Its The Voice of Korea (season 1), first season started on February 10, 2012, on Mnet (TV channel), Mnet. The second and final season started on February 22, 2013, on Mnet (TV channel), Mnet. A reboot was announced in February 2020, and premieres on May 29, 2020. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditionee. ''The Voice of Holland'', also known as ''TVOH'', is a Dutch reality TV singing competition, that became a near global TV format franchise, created by media tycoon John de Mol and musician Roel van Velzen, in the Netherlands airing on RTL 4. For the first nine seasons, The Voice of Holland was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk. Starting from the tenth season (2019–2020), Wendy van Dijk was replaced by Chantal Janzen. The central focus of the show is the singing talent and quality of the contestants. Lee So-jung (born September 3, 1993), better known by the mononym Sojung, is a South Korean singer. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group Ladies' Code. The third season of the South Korean reality television series ''The Voice of Korea'' premiered in May 2020 after a seven-year hiatus. Sung Sikyung, Kim Jongkook, BoA, and Dynamic Duo were introduced as the new coaches of the show. The show is hosted by Jang Sungkyu. Gil Seong-joon (Korean: 길성준, Hanja: 吉成俊; born December 24, 1977), better known by his stage name Gill ( ko, 길), is a South Korean singer and television personality. He was the main singer of former South Korean hip-hop duo, Leessang. In 2009, Gil joined Infinite Challenge as a guest and, later on, as a regular co-host. Gil also co-hosted Come To Play.
