The Violet Burning is an independent American Christian alternative rock band based in Boston, Massachusetts. The band was formed in 1989 in Orange County, California by Michael J. Pritzl. The band is the project of singer, songwriter and guitarist Michael J. Pritzl. Their first album was released by Vineyard Music with subsequent recording release on independent labels such as New Breed, Domo Records, Ruby Electric, Northern Records and directly to fans. They have toured North America and Europe multiple times and sold over 100,000 albums. History '' HM'' ranked the band's 1992 album, ''Strength'', at No. 69 on its Top 100 Christian Rock Albums of All Time list, in 2010. The band toured Europe in mid-2011 and North America during October 2011. Eddie Ray Fisher (born December 17, 1973) is an American musician and songwriter. He is the drummer for American pop rock band OneRepublic. Eddie grew up in Mission Viejo, California and currently resides in Denver, Colorado, where OneRepublic is based. Fisher joined OneRepublic in 2005, and has been the band's drummer ever since. Jeff Schroeder
Jeffrey Kim Schroeder (born February 4, 1974, Los Angeles, California) is an American musician who plays guitar in the alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins—initially replacing co-founder James Iha in 2007 and remaining in the band after Iha rejoined, in 2018. After vocalist and guitarist Billy Corgan, Schroeder is the second longest-serving member of the Smashing Pumpkins. Early days and the Lassie Foundation Schroeder began taking formal guitar lessons from David Koval ( Dakoda Motor Co. and Breakfast with Amy) at age twelve. When he was eighteen, he joined the band the Violet Burning, only to become a guitarist and one of the founding members of the shoegazing band the Lassie Foundation a few years later. Cornerstone Festival
Cornerstone Festival was a Christian music festival put on by Jesus People USA and held annually around July 4 near Bushnell, Illinois, drawing some 20,000 attendees each year. In a given year, many artists that played at Cornerstone also played at other events such as Creation Festival and mainstream festivals and tours such as the Warped Tour. The final festival was held in 2012. Cornerstone Festival was a member of the Christian Festival Association. The Prayer Chain was a 1990s Christian alternative rock band. The band has been called "the epitome of the Christian underground". The Prayer Chain was known for producing moody, angst-ridden music which was, in turn, the result of creative differences within the band and with their record label. History The Prayer Chain formed in February 1990 when Campuzano & Prickett's band, Laughing Boy, broke up at the same time as Taber's band, Tapestry, broke up. "It's All Too Much" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1969 album ''Yellow Submarine (album), Yellow Submarine''.
