Robert Dornhelm (born 17 December 1947 in Temesvár, Romania) is an Austrian film and television director. Biography Dornhelm is of Jewish descent. He has worked on numerous television programmes and has also released such movies as ''Echo Park (1986 film), Echo Park'', ''The Venice Project'', ''Der Unfisch'', and ''A Further Gesture''. In 1998 in film, 1998 ''Der Unfisch'' won the Citizen's Choice Award at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival. He directed the 1977 documentary film ''The Children of Theatre Street'', which was nominated for an Academy Award. Dornhelm directed the television miniseries ''Anne Frank: The Whole Story'' (2001), for which he was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award, Emmy Award. Stockard Channing (born Susan Antonia Williams Stockard; February 13, 1944) is an American actress. She is known for playing Betty Rizzo in the film '' Grease'' (1978) and First Lady Abbey Bartlet in the NBC television series ''The West Wing'' (1999–2006). American comedy films are comedy films produced in the United States. The genre is one of the oldest in American cinema; some of the first silent movies were comedies, as slapstick comedy often relies on visual depictions, without requiring sound.
