''The Vanishing Triangle'' is a six-part television series created by Ivan Kavanagh. It is a dramatisation of true stories from Ireland's Vanishing Triangle. Distributed by Eccho Rights, it premiered on Sundance Now in the United States on 26 October 2023, and aired on Virgin Media One in Ireland on 25 March 2024 and Acorn TV in the United Kingdom on 29 April. It premiered on Australian television on Thursday 7 March 2024, on SBS. Ivan Kavanagh
Ivan Kavanagh is an Irish filmmaker who has written, directed and edited five features and ten short films. His second feature film "The Solution" won Best Drama at the Portobello Film Festival 2007 in London. His third feature Tin Can Man won Boundary Breaking Best Feature at the Sydney Underground Film Festival 2007 and Best Actor for Patrick O'Donnell. It also won Best Foreign Film, Best Foreign Actor for Michael Parle and Best Foreign Director at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival 2008 and Best Cinematography at the Strasbourg International Film Festival 2008. Stuart Dunne
Stuart Dunne is an Irish actor and artist. He is best known for his dark and violent portrayal of the character Billy Meehan on the Irish soap opera ''Fair City''. He was nominated at the 2003 Irish Film and Television Awards for Best Actor in a Television Drama for ''Fair City''. Career Dunne was born in 1957 in Dublin, Ireland. He comes from a large family, nine sisters and two brothers, from Drimnagh. He studied for five years in the Focus Theater under the direction of Deirdre O'Connell. Dunne married in 1988 years to his wife Geraldine, who is also his agent, and in 1991 their son Neil was born.
