The Unforgettable
''The Unforgettable'' is a British television obituary-based documentary programme which aired on ITV. It gave a biographical view into the lives of some of Britain's best-remembered entertainers and actors. Each episode focused on the parallel private and professional life-stories of each person, which included interviews with friends, family and co-stars. The series also used previously unaired home recordings and personal photographs. Series overview Regular Series 2015 Special Episodes To date, five series have been produced, the first three from 21 January 2000 to 21 May 2002. Following an eight-year hiatus, the series returned on 8 August 2010. The first two series were made by Watchmaker Productions. Series 3 was made by Chrysalis Entertainment, whilst series 4 and 5 are made by North One Television, which are all now part of All3Media. In total, 38 regular episodes were produced. Daniel Abineri
Daniel Abineri (born 8 August 1958) is an English songwriter, actor, director, narrator and playwright known for writing the book, music and lyrics for the controversial rock musical ''Bad Boy Johnny and the Prophets of Doom''. The 1994 London production made national news when it caused grave offence to the Roman Catholic Church and was closed down after just nine performances. Danny La Rue
Danny La Rue, (born Daniel Patrick Carroll, 26 July 1927 – 31 May 2009) was an Irish singer and entertainer, best known for his on-stage drag queen, drag persona. He performed in drag and also as himself in theatrical productions, television shows and film. Harry Secombe
Sir Harold Donald Secombe (8 September 1921 – 11 April 2001) was a Welsh comedian, actor, singer and television presenter. Secombe was a member of the British radio comedy programme ''The Goon Show'' (1951–1960), playing many characters, most notably Neddie Seagoon.
