The Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale
''The Ultimate Fighter: Live'' (also known as ''The Ultimate Fighter 15'') was the fifteenth installment of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)-produced reality television series ''The Ultimate Fighter''. This season marked the show's debut on the FX network, the debut of Jon Anik as the show's host, and featured Lightweight fighters. As part of the deal with FX, the show was revamped. Prior seasons of the show were filmed in six weeks, edited and aired several months after filming was completed. This season the show was being filmed over thirteen weeks and was being edited "the week of" before being broadcast. In addition this season was the first to feature live fights. Danny Castillo
Daniel Alfonso Castillo (born August 25, 1979) is a retired American mixed martial artist. A professional from 2007 until 2015, he competed in 22 bouts with both the UFC and WEC. Justin Buchholz (born August 22, 1983) is a Filipino-American former mixed martial arts fighter. Shanon Slack (born April 23, 1983) is an American mixed martial artist who competes in Bellator's featherweight division. Background Slack lived his early life in Chicago, but his family moved to Richmond, Virginia when he was in the 6th grade. In wrestling, he was a high school All American as a senior, wrestled at Cerritos College where he won All-American honors and the California JUCO title then Fresno State and Old Dominion and trained at the Olympic Training Center. Wilson Reis Monte Alto Gonçalves (born January 6, 1985, in Januária) is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the Flyweight division. Reis is the former EliteXC Bantamweight Champion and has also competed for UFC, Bellator, ShoXC and Cage Warriors. Ross Pearson
Ross Pearson (born 26 September 1984) is a retired English mixed martial artist who last competed in 2019. A 26-fight veteran of the UFC, he was a three-time "Fight of the Night" winner and was the lightweight winner of The Ultimate Fighter 9. Rudy Bears is a former American professional mixed martial artist, who competed in the Welterweight division. A professional competitor since 2007, Bears has formerly competed for Bellator, Strikeforce, Titan Fighting Championships and M-1 Global. Background Bears is from Independence, Missouri and had a troubled upbringing, involving himself with street gangs and crime. He originally attended Van Horn High School but was caught trying to steal a car and as a result, was placed in jail for one month while looking at seven years in the penitentiary.
