The Town Santa Forgot
''The Town Santa Forgot'' is a 1993 animated Christmas television special produced by Hanna-Barbera, narrated by Dick Van Dyke and originally broadcast on NBC. It is an adaptation of the poem '' Jeremy Creek'', written by Charmaine Severson. Since then, it was frequently shown in Christmas marathons on Cartoon Network until 2005, and is still shown annually on Boomerang. Summary As a family gathers around the tree on Christmas Eve, their son Timmy has made a special wish in his letter to Santa Claus. But the letter is found – unmailed – by the lovable family dog Goober and his friend, Gumdrop the mouse. Together, they set off into the snowy night to deliver the letter to Santa. Overcoming many perils – including a lurking gang of alley cats – they finally find Santa. ''Casper's First Christmas'' is a 1979 animated Christmas television special and crossover produced by Hanna-Barbera. It features Casper the Friendly Ghost and his friend Hairy Scarey from the animated series ''Casper and the Angels''. The special features guest stars Yogi Bear, Boo-Boo, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, Quick Draw McGraw, and Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy. It aired on NBC on December 18, 1979.
