The Totally Football Show
''The Totally Football Show'' presented by James Richardson is a thrice weekly podcast about association football produced by Muddy Knees Media. From June 15, 2020 it was incorporated into and also available via The Athletic. It regularly features on lists of the best association football podcasts. History The podcast was an off-shoot of ''The Guardian'' newspaper's '' Football Weekly'' podcast from which presenter Richardson, Producer Ben, and regular contributor Iain Macintosh left in order to create their own product ahead of the 2017–18 season. The new shows received five million downloads in their first two months. Throughout the 2017–18 season 26 million downloads were reported. For the 2018–19 season the 'Totally Football Show' will be sponsoring the football shirts of Melchester Rovers in the re-boot of the Roy of the Rovers graphic novels. James Horncastle is an English sportswriter and a broadcaster. Specialising in European and Italian football, Horncastle frequently covers football for BT Sport. Sam Parkin
Samuel Parkin (born 14 March 1981) is an English former footballer; a radio presenter for BBC Wiltshire, regularly involved with Swindon Town's coverage; and commentator for Chelsea TV. Pat Nevin
Patrick Kevin Francis Michael Nevin (born 6 September 1963) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a winger. In a 20-year career, he appeared for Clyde, Chelsea, Everton, Tranmere Rovers, Kilmarnock and Motherwell. He won 28 caps for Scotland, scattered across a ten-year international career, and was selected for the UEFA Euro 1992 finals squad. Since retiring as a player, Nevin has worked as a chief executive of Motherwell and as a football writer and broadcaster. Adam Hurrey (born 1983) is a London-based British journalist, author, and podcaster. Biography Hurrey is the author of the book ''Football Clichés'' released in 2014. It was named book of the week in ''The Independent'', and in ''The Daily Telegraph'' was described as the spiritual heir to fanzines and the gleeful radio shows of Danny Baker and Danny Kelly. Richard Hughes (footballer)
Richard Daniel Hughes (born 25 June 1979) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played as a defensive midfielder. He started his professional career as a junior in Italy for Atalanta before moving to Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth. He most prominently previously featured for Portsmouth from 2002 until 2011, and had a brief loan spell with Grimsby Town in 2003. After a year out of the game, Hughes signed again for Bournemouth.
