The Swordsman (2020 Film)
''The Swordsman'' () is a 2020 South Korean period action film directed by Choi Jae-hoon, starring Jang Hyuk as the titular character. Plot Tae-yul, the best swordsman in Joseon who serves King Gwanghaegun as his bodyguard, refuses to join a rebellion of the King's top officials, who believe him too weak to lead the nation against foreign invaders. One of the rebellion's leaders, Min Seung-ho, challenges him to a duel, during which Tae-yul's sword shatters and shards of metal pierce his eyes. The King personally stops the duel, declaring he will abdicate the throne, and releases Tae-yul from his service. Years later, an older Tae-yul now lives with his teenage daughter, Tae-ok. Jeong Yong-jun (born December 20, 1976), better known as Jang Hyuk, is a South Korean actor. The New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) is a critically acclaimed film festival held in New York City, dedicated to the display of Asian Film Culture. 21st New York Asian Film Festival
The 21st New York Asian Film Festival began in New York from 15 July with the opening film of the festival '' Fast and Feel Love'', a Thai film by Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit. The 21st edition was celebrated as 20th anniversary of the festival and seventy titles were screened in person. The lineup included six world premieres, eight international premieres, 19 North American premieres, four U.S. premieres, and 17 East Coast premieres. The Glasgow Film Festival is an annual film festival based in Glasgow, Scotland. The festival began in 2005. Hawaii International Film Festival
The Hawai'i International Film Festival (HIFF) is an annual film festival held in the United States state of Hawaii.
