The Sunday Roast
''The Sunday Roast'' was an Australian sports talk show that dealt with the issues in the National Rugby League. Created by sports presenter Andrew Voss, it aired on the Nine Network, first screening in 2005, beginning at and leading into ''The NRL Footy Show#Sunday Footy Show, The Sunday Footy Show''. In 2006, with the axing of Voss's previous show, ''Boots N' All'', ''The Sunday Footy Show'' moved to , with ''The Sunday Roast'' moving to midday. In 2012, the show, by then hosted by Tim Gilbert (journalist), Tim Gilbert following Voss's controversial demotion and ultimate departure from the Nine Network, was incorporated into ''The Sunday Footy Show (rugby league), The Sunday Footy Show'' as a shorter segment rather than airing as a separate show. In 2015, the segment was dropped altogether due to its sharp decline in popularity. Brad Fittler
Bradley Scott Fittler (born 5 February 1972), also known by the nickname of "Freddy", is the head coach of the New South Wales State of Origin team, a commentator and a television presenter. Fittler has previously coached the Sydney Roosters in the NRL, the NSW City side and at international level he coached Lebanon. He is a former professional player who was named among the finest rugby league footballers of the first century of rugby league in Australia. Nicknamed 'Freddy', Fittler captained both New South Wales and Australia, and in 2000 was awarded the Golden Boot. He retired as the most-capped New South Wales State of Origin player, inducted into the NSWRL Hall of Fame and third-most-capped Australian international player. Ray Warren
Raymond Warren OAM (born 11 June 1943) is a retired Australian sports commentator, known for his coverage of televised professional rugby league matches on the Nine Network. He is known as the "Voice of Rugby League", and called 99 State of Origin games as well as 45 NRL Grand Finals. Warren also used to call Australian swimming team events and the FINA World Championships until Nine lost the rights to these events in 2008 and in 2012 participated in Nine's coverage of the London Olympics. Phillip Ronald Gould (born 24 January 1958), also nicknamed "Gus", is an Australian rugby league broadcaster, journalist, administrator and formerly a player and coach. He works as the General Manager of Football for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL. Background Gould was born in Sydney, New South Wales in January 1958. Mark Geyer
Mark Bradley Geyer (born 7 December 1967) is an Australian radio host and former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000. An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative second-rower, he is a rugby league media identity. Geyer's club career was played primarily with Penrith, with whom he won a premiership in 1991, as well as the Balmain Tigers and the Western Reds. He is the brother of fellow former professional rugby league footballer Matt Geyer.
