The Sunday Drivers
The Sunday Drivers was a Spanish indie-pop group that was formed in Toledo, Spain in 1999. They retired after playing for the last time on July 17, 2010, at the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (FIB). They were winners of several contests of new bands, including the "Young Artists Competition of Castilla La Mancha." They provided songs for TV commercials such as the promotional advertising campaign for Castilla La Mancha. They recorded in "The Concert Radio3" at least three times. They launched their first album, Rock Indiana, at a party in the venue Moby Dick in Madrid in 2002.1 With them The Sunday Drivers released their first self-titled album in 2003. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, Independent record label, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free. Festival Internacional De Benicàssim
The Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (), commonly abbreviated to simply FIB, is an annual music festival that takes place in the town of Benicàssim, in the Valencian Community, Spain. It focuses mainly on pop, rock and electronica artists, as well as short films, fashion shows and art. FIB has a reputation of being among the best on the international festival circuit. The festival begins on the second Tuesday of July, when the camping grounds open, although music officially commences Thursday afternoon. FIB is notable for having bands play through the night (5 pm8 am) and has three main stages, Las Palmas, Visa and South Beach Dance, with capacities of approximately 30,000, 15,000 and 8,000, respectively. The Raconteurs
The Raconteurs (, also known as The Saboteurs in Australia) is an American rock band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 2005. The band consists of Jack White (vocals, guitar), Brendan Benson (vocals, guitar), Jack Lawrence (bass guitar), and Patrick Keeler (drums). Lawrence and Keeler were originally members of the Greenhornes, while White and Lawrence went on to become members of the Dead Weather. History The band is based in Nashville, Tennessee. According to the band's official website, "The seed was sown in an attic in the middle of a hot summer when friends Jack White and Brendan Benson got together and wrote a song that truly inspired them. The Black Keys
The Black Keys are an American rock duo formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001. The group consists of Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums). The duo began as an independent act, recording music in basements and self-producing their records, before they eventually emerged as one of the most popular garage rock artists during a second wave of the genre's revival in the 2000s. The band's raw blues rock sound draws heavily from Auerbach's blues influences, including Junior Kimbrough, R.L. Burnside, Howlin' Wolf, and Robert Johnson.
