''The Sun Is Far Away'' ( sh, Daleko je sunce / ) is a 1953 Yugoslav war film directed by Radoš Novaković and starring Branko Pleša, Rade Marković and Dragomir Felba.Liehm & Liehm p.131 It is a Partisan film, the dominant genre in immediate post-war Cinema of Yugoslavia, Yugoslav cinema. Miroslav Čangalović
Miroslav Čangalović ( sr-cyr, Мирослав Чангаловић; 3 March 1921 – 1 October 1999) was a Serbian opera and concert singer and is considered to be one of the greatest basses in Yugoslav history. Čangalović was born in the small Bosnian town of Glamoč. Due to his friendship with the family of Dušan Trbojević, a distinguished Serbian pianist and composer, he familiarized himself with the art of opera as well as operatic and concerto performing. His operatic debut took place in 1946 in Belgrade National Theater Opera House, with the role of jailer in Giacomo Puccini's opera '' Tosca''. Between 1946-54 he took singing lessons by Zdenka Zikova, a well-known operatic singer and a pedagogue. His operatic repertoire included more than 90 roles which he interpreted with his rich voice and his dramatic strength. The Uru or Uros ( ure, Qhas Qut suñi) are an indigenous people of Bolivia. They live on an approximate and still growing 120 self-fashioned floating islands in Lake Titicaca near Puno. They form three main groups: the Uru-Chipaya, Uru-Murato, and Uru-Iruito. The Uru-Iruito still inhabit the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca and the Desaguadero River. History According to legend, the Uru descend from a people that spoke the Puquina language. Slobodan ( sr-Cyrl, Слободан) is a Serbo-Croatian masculine given name which means "free" (''sloboda'' / meaning "freedom, liberty") used among other South Slavs as well. It was coined by Serbian liberal politician Vladimir Jovanović who, inspired by John Stuart Mill's essay '' On Liberty'' baptised his son as Slobodan in 1869 and his daughter Pravda (Justice) in 1871.
