The Streak was a period of 68 years, spanning from 1948 to 2015, in which Easton Area High School in Easton, Pennsylvania produced at least one individual district champion in the sport of high school wrestling. From 1948 to 2015, Easton had 185 individual district wrestling champions, while never failing to have at least one champion, in any year. Easton Area High School
} Easton Area High School is a four-year public high school located in Easton, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley area of eastern Pennsylvania. It is part of the Easton Area School District. This wrestling style is essentially collegiate wrestling with some slight rule modifications. According to an athletics participation survey taken by the National Federation of State High School Associations, boys' wrestling ranked eighth in terms of the number of schools sponsoring teams, with 9,445 schools participating in the 2006–07 school year. Also, 257,246 boys participated in the sport during that school year, making scholastic wrestling the sixth most popular sport among high school boys. Eastern Pennsylvania Conference
The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (known informally as EPC, EPC18 and East Penn Conference) is an athletic conference consisting of 18 large high schools from Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Pike counties in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountain regions of eastern and northeastern Pennsylvania. The conference is a part of District XI of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA). Bobby Weaver
Robert Brooks Weaver Sr. (born December 29, 1958) is an American former freestyle wrestler. He won a gold medal at 48 kg (105.5 pounds) at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He also won a silver medal at the 1979 World Championships and was a member of the 1980 Olympic team that boycotted the Moscow Olympics. Wrestling career High school Weaver began wrestling at the age of six. He attended Easton Area High School in Easton, Pennsylvania, where he won three PIAA state titles. He won in 1975 and 1976 at the 98-pound weight class and in 1977 at the 105-pound weight class. Chuck Amato
Charles Michael Amato (born June 26, 1946) is a former American football coach and former player. He was most recently the defensive coordinator for the Akron Zips football team. He served as the head football at North Carolina State University from 2000 to 2006, compiling a record of 49–37. On January 17, 2007, Amato returned to Florida State, where he had coached as assistant for nearly two decades before moving to NC State, as executive associate head coach and linebackers coach, a position he held for three seasons. Jordan Oliver (amateur Wrestler)
Jordan Michael Oliver (born May 8, 1990) is an American freestyle, graduated folkstyle wrestler who competes at 65 kilograms and professional mixed martial artist who competes in the featherweight division of Bellator MMA. In freestyle, he was a 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Member, but failed to qualify internationally after falling in the semifinals of the 2021 World Olympic Qualification Tournament.
