''The Storholmen Brothers'' ( sv, Pojkarna på Storholmen) is a 1932 Swedish black-and-white comedy film. It was directed by and starred Sigurd Wallén and Fridolf Rhudin, two of the big names of Swedish film in the early 20th century. ''Pojkarna på Storholmen'' is one of the greatest box office hits in the history of the leading Swedish film studio Svensk Filmindustri, and generally regarded as one of the best Fridolf Rhudin comedies. Sam Hjalmar Rydberg (27 October 1885 – 25 March 1956) was a Swedish composer. Biography Sam Rydberg was born in Nyköping, Sweden, in 1885. He started as a military musician at age 13 as a drummer at the Södermanland Regiment. Filmstaden
Filmstaden was a film studio situated in Råsunda, Solna Municipality in Stockholm, Sweden. History Filmstaden was once one of the most modern film studios in Europe. It was built in 1919–1920 on the basis of designs by Swedish architect Ebbe Crone (1885-1960). It was owned and operated by SF Studios (''Svensk Filmindustri''), the main Swedish film producer at the time. Some 400 movies have been created at Filmstaden. The first movie to be filmed at Filmstaden was ''The Phantom Carriage'' (''Körkarlen''. 1921) by director Victor Sjöström. Einar Fagstad (30 October 1899 in Lillehammer – 19 February 1961 in Göteborg) was a Norwegian–Swedish accordionist, singer, actor and composer. Fagstad began playing accordion aged four. He trained as a painter and studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (1916–1917).
