Carl Riseley
Carl Riseley (born 21 December 1982) is an Australian jazz and pop music singer. Early life and career origins Born on the Gold Coast in 1982, Riseley started out playing the cornet, and progressed to the trumpet when he was sixteen. Riseley joined The Royal Australian Navy band in April 2003, as a trumpeter. His singing career began in late 2003 when the Navy Rock Band were deployed on HMAS ''Tobruk'' to tour around Asia & Australia, but did not have a singer. The vacancy was filled by Riseley, who has remained a vocalist. During his time with the Royal Australian Navy, Riseley was deployed in the Solomon Islands, and played for the troops in Iraq on New Year's Eve in 2004 and 2005. Ron Sexsmith
Ronald Eldon Sexsmith (born January 8, 1964) is a Canadian singer-songwriter from St. Catharines, Ontario. He was the songwriter of the year at the 2005 Juno Awards. He began releasing recordings of his own material in 1985 at age 21, and has since recorded seventeen albums. He was the subject of a 2010 documentary called '' Love Shines''. Early life Sexsmith grew up in St. Catharines and started his own band when he was 14 years old. Career Sexsmith was seventeen when he started playing at a bar, the Lion's Tavern, in his hometown. Don Walker (musician)
Donald Hugh Walker (born 29 November 1951) is an Australian musician and songwriter who wrote many of the hits for Australian pub rock band Cold Chisel. Walker is considered to be one of Australia's best songwriters. In 2012 he was inducted into the Australian Songwriter's Hall of Fame. He played piano and keyboard with the Cold Chisel from 1973 to 1983, when they disbanded. He has since continued to record and tour, both solo, initially under the name Catfish and as Tex, Don and Charlie, and worked as a songwriter for others. In 2009, he released his first book. Richard Charles Rodgers (June 28, 1902 – December 30, 1979) was an American Musical composition, composer who worked primarily in musical theater. Lorenz Milton Hart (May 2, 1895 – November 22, 1943) was an American lyricist and half of the Broadway songwriting team Rodgers and Hart. "My Funny Valentine" is a show tune from the 1937 Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart coming of age musical ''Babes in Arms'' in which it was introduced by teenaged star Mitzi Green.
