''The Stationmaster'' (russian: Станционный смотритель, Stantsionny smotritel) is a 1972 drama film based on the 1831 short story of the same name by Alexander Pushkin. Sergei Alexandrovich Solovyov (russian: Серге́й Алекса́ндрович Соловьёв; 25 August 1944 – 13 December 2021) was a Soviet and Russian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor.
