The Sound (Australian TV Series)
''The Sound'' is an Australian music program broadcast on the ABC, which first screened on Sunday 19 July 2020. The program is hosted by Jane Gazzo and Zan Rowe with a special guest co-host each week. It is created and filmed by Mushroom Vision and screens on Sundays at 5.30pm with a replay on Saturdays at 12.30pm. The pre-recorded live performances are also available to watch on ABC iview ABC iview is a video on demand and catch-up TV service run by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Currently iview video content can only be viewed by users in Australia. As of 2016, ABC iview attracts around 50 million plays monthly and .... ''The Sound'' features pre-recorded live performances, music videos of new releases and interviews with artists, highlighting Australia's "best and upcoming talent". Michael Gudinski
Michael Solomon Gudinski AM (22 August 1952 – 2 March 2021) was an Australian record executive and promoter who was a leading figure in the Australian music industry. Born and raised in Melbourne to Jewish Russian immigrants, Gudinski formed the highly successful Australian record company Mushroom Records in 1972 through which he signed several generations of Australian musicians and performers ranging from MacKenzie Theory, the Skyhooks, The Choirboys, Kylie Minogue, and New Zealand's Split Enz to newer artists such as Eskimo Joe, Evermore and others. Ali Barter
Alison Barter (born 1986) is an Australian pop rock singer-songwriter. Trained in classical music, Barter began writing and independently releasing pop rock in her mid-twenties. San Cisco
San Cisco is an Australian indie pop band that formed in 2009 under the original name of King George, in Fremantle, Western Australia. The band are a Trio (music), three-piece, and currently consists of Jordi Davieson (guitar, lead vocals), Josh Biondillo (guitar, vocals) and Scarlett Stevens (drums, vocals).
