''The Sold Grandfather'' (german: Der verkaufte Großvater) is a 1962 West German comedy film directed by Hans Albin and starring Hans Moser, Vivi Bach and Hubert von Meyerinck.Bock & Bergfelder p.442 It is a remake of the 1942 film of the same title and is based on a play of the same name. Harald Juhnke
Harald Juhnke () (born Harry Heinz Herbert Juhnke, 10 June 1929 – 1 April 2005), was a German actor, comedian, and singer. Life and career Juhnke was born in Berlin-Charlottenburg. His father was a police officer and his mother came from a family of bakers. He grew up in the working-class district of Gesundbrunnen in Berlin. His first stage appearance was in 1948. In 1950, he was hired by the theater in Neustrelitz. In the following years, he worked in several other theaters, including the Volksbühne in Berlin. Juhnke began appearing on German television after 1977. He played in a number of television series and later hosted the ZDF television show ''Musik ist Trumpf''. He often sang on the shows he hosted, in particular emulating Frank Sinatra. Juhnke went on to record several albums between the years 1968 and 1999. Max Greger (April 2, 1926, Munich – August 15, 2015, Munich) was a German jazz musician, saxophonist, big band bandleader and conductor. He recorded over 150 records in jazz and pop music. In 1948 he founded his first sextet with acclaimed musicians, including Hugo Strasser. In 1959 he was the first western orchestra to tour the Soviet Union. In 1963 he put together a top orchestra for ZDF, which for years supported all major TV shows. His son, Max Greger Jr. and grandson, Max Greger Jr.Jr. are accomplished musicians as well. Edith "Ditta" Einzinger (born Edith Zuser; 17 January 1931 – 1 July 2010) was an Austrian pop singer who recorded under the stage name Lolita. She began singing in local clubs while working as a kindergarten teacher. Discovered in 1956, she began her recording career in 1957.
