The Snake Woman
''The Snake Woman'' (a.k.a. ''The Terror of the Snake Woman'') is a low budget black-and-white 1961 British horror film produced by George Fowler and directed by Sidney J. Furie. It stars Susan Travers and John McCarthy. The film was shown on a double bill in the UK with several movies, including re-releases of ''The Split'' (a.k.a. ''The Manster'') (1959) and '' The Vikings'' (1958), and as the second feature on a double bill with ''Doctor Blood's Coffin'' (1961) in the US. The film is set in a small English village at the turn of the 20th century. Geoffrey R. Denton (born 1931) is a British economist. He served as Director of Wilton Park, and formerly as Reader in Economics at the University of Reading (from 1967) and Professor and head of economics at the College of Europe in Bruges. Walton-on-Thames, locally known as Walton, is a market town on the south bank of the Thames in the Elmbridge borough of Surrey, England.
