The Six Arms Saga
"The Six Arms Saga" is a story arc featuring the popular Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, written by Stan Lee and drawn by Gil Kane. It spans the issues ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #100–102 (1971) and features the first appearance and origin story of Morbius, the Living Vampire. The story arc is mostly remembered for Spider-Man growing four extra arms, and for a subsequent '' What If…?'' stating that keeping the arms would have allowed Spider-Man to save Gwen Stacy and defeat Thanos himself. The titular "Six-Arm Spider-Man" will make his cinematic debut in the 2023 feature film '' Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'', depicted as a member of Miguel O'Hara's Spider-Forces. The Amazing Spider-Man
''The Amazing Spider-Man'' is an ongoing American comic book series featuring the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man as its main protagonist. Being in the Earth 616, mainstream continuity of the franchise, it began publication in 1963 as a bimonthly periodical (as ''Amazing Fantasy'' had been), quickly being increased to monthly, and was published continuously, with a brief interruption in 1995, until its second volume with a new numbering order in 1999. In 2003, the series reverted to the numbering order of the first volume. The title has occasionally been published biweekly, and was published three times a month from 2008 to 2010. After DC Comics' The New 52, relaunch of ''Action Comics'' and ''Detective Comics'' with new No. 1 issues in 2011, it had been the highest-numbered American comic still in circulation until it was cancelled. ''Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'' is an upcoming American computer-animated superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales / Spider-Man, produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel Entertainment. Distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is a sequel to '' Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'' (2018) and is set in a shared multiverse of alternate universes called the "Spider-Verse".
