The Simpsons (season 14)
The fourteenth season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons'' was originally broadcast on the Fox network in the United States between November 3, 2002, and May 18, 2003, and was produced by Gracie Films and 20th Century Fox Television. The show runner for the fourteenth production season was Al Jean, who executive produced 21 of 22 episodes. The other episode, " How I Spent My Strummer Vacation", was run by Mike Scully. The season was the first to use digital ink-and-paint for most of its episodes, though four episodes ("How I Spent My Strummer Vacation", "Bart vs. Lisa vs. the Third Grade", "Large Marge" and "Helter Shelter") were hold-overs from season 13's production run and used traditional ink-and-paint. A fifth season 13 holdover episode ("Treehouse of Horror XIII") was the first episode of season 14 to use digital ink-and paint. Kang And Kodos
Kang and Kodos Johnson are a duo of fictional recurring characters in the animated television series ''The Simpsons''. Kang is voiced by Harry Shearer and Kodos by Dan Castellaneta. They are green, perpetually drooling, octopus-like aliens from the fictional planet Rigel VII and appear almost exclusively in the "Treehouse of Horror" episodes. The duo has appeared in at least one segment of all thirty-three Treehouse of Horror episodes. Sometimes, their appearance is the focus of a plot. Other times, it is a brief cameo. Don Payne (writer)
William Donald Payne (May 5, 1964 – March 26, 2013) was an American writer and producer. He wrote several episodes of ''The Simpsons'' after 2000, many of these with John Frink, whom he met while studying at the University of California, Los Angeles. The duo began their careers writing for the short-lived sitcom ''Hope and Gloria''. Payne later moved into writing feature films, including ''My Super Ex-Girlfriend'' (2006), and co-wrote '' Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer'' (2007), ''Thor'' (2011) and its sequel '' Thor: The Dark World'' (2013). Bob Anderson is an American animation director on ''The Simpsons''. He also contributed additional sequence direction on ''The Simpsons Movie''. After high school, Bob Anderson enrolled at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art to pursue an education in animation.
