''The Siege of Beszterce'' (Hunarian: ''Beszterce ostroma'') is a 1948 Hungarian historical drama film directed by Márton Keleti and starring Klári Tolnay, Ida Turay and Andor Ajtay. It was based on the novel of the same title by Kálmán Mikszáth.Goble p.325 It was shot at the Hunnia Studios in Budapest. The film's sets were designed by the art director Mátyás Varga. Gyula Justh (13 January 1850 – 9 October 1917) was a Hungarian jurist and politician, who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 1905 and 1909. Árpád (; 845 – 907) was the head of the confederation of the Magyar tribes at the turn of the 9th and 10th centuries.
