Robert William "Dabbs" Greer (April 2, 1917 – April 28, 2007) was an American character actor in film and television for over 60 years. Ruth Hale (October 14, 1908 – April 20, 2003) was an American playwright and actress. Biography Hale was born in Granger, Utah (now West Valley City), and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband, James Nathan Hale, moved to California to seek out opportunities in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Hollywood.
