The Sculptor (film)
''The Sculptor'' is a 2009 Australian thriller film. It was directed by Australian film director Christopher Kenworthy, who co-wrote and co-produced with Chantal Bourgault. Filming took place in Perth, Western Australia during early 2008. Prior to a limited online release in 2013, the film was retitled ''The Sculptor's Ritual''. In 2019 it was added to the RevOnDemand catalogue of the Revelation Film Festival, where it can be rented or purchased for streaming. Plot A struggling artist immerses himself in black magic in order to further his career. Christopher Kenworthy
Christopher Kenworthy (1968) is an Australian writer, artist, and former film director. He was the author of two novels, ''The Winter Inside'' and ''The Quality of Light'' for Serpent's Tail, along with a short story collection, ''Will You Hold Me?'' and the chapbook ''Sullom Hill''. His fiction has been widely praised by authors such as Michael Moorcock, and anthologised in books such as The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror. Born in Preston, England, he moved to Australia in 1997 and began a low-key directing career which lasted until 2013. He was the director of a feature film called The Sculptor. Gordon Honeycombe
Ronald Gordon Honeycombe (27 September 1936 – 9 October 2015), known professionally as Gordon Honeycombe, was a British newscaster, author, playwright and stage actor. Honeycombe was born in Karachi, in the British Raj. He was educated at the Edinburgh Academy and read English at University College, Oxford. He completed National Service with the Royal Artillery, mainly in Hong Kong, where he was also an announcer with Radio Hong Kong. Returning to the UK, he embarked on an acting career which led to television and public prominence as a national newscaster with ITN. James Ledger (born 1966) is an Australian composer of contemporary classical music, and senior lecturer in composition at the Conservatorium of Music at the University of Western Australia, where he is chair of orchestral composition. Trembling Blue Stars
Trembling Blue Stars was the London-based band based music project of Robert Wratten, started in 1996. Later consisting of Harvey Williams, Jonathan Akerman, Keris Howard, Michael Hiscock, and Beth Arzy who replaced Annemari Davies in 2000. Initially begun as a side project of Wratten's previous band Northern Picture Library, Trembling Blue Stars became Wratten's main band when Northern Picture Library broke up in 1995.
