The Score (Singaporean TV Series)
''The Score'' (simplified Chinese: 无花果) is a Singaporean Chinese drama which was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Zhang Yaodong, Paige Chua, Pierre Png, Cai Peixuan, Xiang Yun, Huang Wenyong & Terence Cao as the main casts of the series. It made its debut on 4 October 2010 and ended on 5 November 2010. This drama serial consists of 25 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm. The encore is being made from 28 September 2011 to 1 November 2011 at every weekday at 5:30pm. Due to its violent scenes, this drama was not awarded any nominations in acting categories at the Star Awards 2011. Zhang Yaodong
Zhang Yaodong (, born Teoh Yeow Tong on 17 December 1977) is a Malaysian actor based in Singapore. Career Zhang entered the entertainment industry after finishing first runner-up in the Malaysian edition of talent-search contest Star Search in 2001. He was previously a model and had done various commercials in Malaysia before joining MediaCorp. made his small screen debut in the sixth season of popular sitcom, ''Don't Worry, Be Happy''. After seven years in the industry, Zhang was awarded his first lead role in '' Happily Ever After''. He has since snared played lead roles in series such as ''The Greatest Love of All'', '' Your Hand in Mine'' and several Malaysian co-productions. Star Awards 2011 (Chinese: 红星大奖 2011) was a double television award ceremony held in Singapore. It is part of the annual ''Star Awards'' organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channel 8 and MediaCorp Channel U. As like the preceding year's ceremony, this year's ''Star Awards'' were broadcast in two live-telecast shows on Channel 8, on 17 and 24 April. The first show, titled 银光闪耀 (lit. Desmond Sim
Desmond Sim Kim Jin (born 1961) is a Singaporean playwright, poet, short story writer, screenwriter and painter. His work, ''Places Where I've Been'', won a Merit Prize in the 1993 Singapore Literature Prize for Poetry. Richard Low (; born 19 June 1952), also known as Liu Qianyi, is a Singaporean actor. He is best known for acting in many Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8 and its predecessors. He also acted in some of Jack Neo's films. ''My Paper'' () was a free, bilingual (English and Chinese) newspaper in Singapore published by the Singapore Press Holdings. Adam Chen (born 24 June 1976) is a Singaporean television and film actor. Early life Chen was educated at The Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College. Whilst a civil engineering student at the National University of Singapore he did some modelling and joined ''Route to Glamour'', a talent show organised by SPH MediaWorks. Paige Chua
Paige Chua Qi Hui (; born 25 June 1981) is a Singaporean actress. Early life Chua was born in Singapore on 25 June 1981. She attended Mayflower Secondary School and Serangoon Junior College before graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts. She also represented Singapore in netball, as part of the National Youth Netball team between 1997 and 1999. She was discovered at a basic modeling class, which started her four-year career as a model.
