The Same Side
''The Same Side'' is the second studio album by the British singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas. It was first released on 20 October 2006 in the Netherlands. It was scheduled for release at the same time in Silvas' native UK, but was postponed after the failure of the album's first single " Last Year". The album was released in the UK on 12 March 2007. The album debuted in the Dutch Albums Chart at number 5, though only peaked at 62 in the UK. Album information The Dutch edition of the album includes the song "Everytime I Think of You", a duet with Dutch singer Marco Borsato, as the 12th track of the album with "Stolen" as a hidden track. Singles "Everytime I Think of You" was released as the first single in the Netherlands. Lucie Silvas
Lucie Silvas (born Lucie Joanne Silverman, 4 September 1977) is a British singer-songwriter. Early life Born in Kingston upon Thames, England, her father is from New Zealand and is of Jewish descent; and her mother is Scottish and is Christian. Silvas has two sisters, Mia (who has performed backing vocals for her), and Nikki. Her parents were also big music lovers and Silvas has stated this inspired her career, besides the fact that her mother was an opera singer and wanted to pursue a career in music herself. Silvas learned to play piano at the age of 5, and had written her first song by age 10. She relocated many times between her parents' native countries as well as England. "Every Time I Think of You" is a song written by Jack Conrad and Ray Kennedy and released in December 1978 as the lead single from The Babys' third studio album ''Head First''; John Waite provided lead vocals, featuring female vocals by Myrna Matthews. The track was a worldwide hit, and became their last top 20 in the United States. Breathe In is the second single released from the debut album of the same title by English singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas. "Breathe In" outpeaked her previous single " What You're Made Of" on the UK Singles Charts by one position, reaching number six. Raymond Louis Kennedy (November 26, 1946 – February 16, 2014) was an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer, based in Los Angeles. His works span multiple genres including R&B, pop, rock, jazz, fusion, acid rock, country and many others. Judie Tzuke ( ; born Judie Myers, 3 April 1956) is an English singer-songwriter. She is best known for her 1979 hit " Stay with Me till Dawn", which reached number 16 on the UK Singles Chart. Marco Roberto Borsato (; born 21 December 1966) is a Dutch singer. Born in Alkmaar, North Holland, he started performing in Italian before switching to Dutch in 1994.
