''The Routine '' is the debut studio album by the American alternative metal band Hotwire. Produced by Matt Hyde, it was released on June 3, 2003, through RCA Records. The single "Not Today", was a hit on American rock radio, peaking at No. 40 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. It is the band's last release before Hotwire disbanded. ''Evolution Skateboarding'' is a sports video game released by Konami for the GameCube and PlayStation 2 in 2002. It includes several popular skateboarders such as Rick McCrank, Arto Saari, Kerry Getz, and Danny Way. There is also a create-a-skater feature and an unlockable character for every skater the player completes the game as. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). In recent years digital masters have become usual, although analog masters—such as audio tapes—are still being used by the manufacturing industry, particularly by a few engineers who specialize in analog mastering. Stephen Marcussen is the founder and chief mastering engineer at Marcussen Mastering in Hollywood, California, United States. He has been mastering music since 1979. Biography Marcussen's introduction to music recording happened in 1976 when, at the age of 19, he was offered a janitor position at Studio 55, record producer Richard Perry's Los Angeles recording studio. At Studio 55, Marcussen received an education in all facets of music recording and sound production. Daniel James Irving (born April 16, 1969), better known as Dan Druff, is a guitar technician and musician who has worked with various artists in the studio and on tours, including Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Sum 41, Wolfmother, The Distillers, Coheed and Cambria, Monster Magnet and Madrugada. Druff is best known for his work with Queens of the Stone Age, which saw him work as a technician on three studio albums and join the band for a stint as touring bassist.
