The Roe Conn Show
''The Roe Conn Show'', was a talk radio show hosted by Roe Conn and various co-hosts on WLS-AM between 1989-2014 and on WGN-AM between 2015-2020. History In 1995, Garry Meier and Roe Conn began ''The Roe and Garry Show''. During this show, Jim Johnson and Christina Filiaggi gave the news and traffic, respectively. Johnson and Filiaggi also offered their opinions on what the two hosts were discussing throughout the course of the show. This first show saw high ratings and was successful. After 9 years, Meier's contract expired and he left in 2004. The show was renamed ''The Roe Conn Show'' and it was restructured around Conn, with Johnson and Filiaggi as supporting cast. In late 2005, Bill Leff was added. He proved to be funnier and quicker than Meier, but he often disappeared into the background when Conn began talking. Owned and operated by the network's CBS News and Stations division, the station maintains studios on West Washington Street in the Loop district, and its transmitter is located atop the Willis Tower. History Early history (1940–1953) WBBM-TV traces its history to 1940 when Balaban and Katz, a subsidiary of Paramount Pictures, signed on experimental station W9XBK, the first all-electronic television facility in Chicago. Drew Peterson
Drew Walter Peterson (born January 5, 1954) is an American convicted murderer and former police sergeant who was found guilty in 2012 of the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, a few months after their 2003 divorce. Peterson first received national publicity in 2007 when his fourth wife, Stacy Ann Cales Peterson, disappeared. Although the police and Stacy Ann's family suspect foul play, she has never been found. Suspicions in Stacy Ann's case were fueled in part by the death of Savio, whose bruised body was found in a dry bathtub in her home in 2004 with a large gash to her scalp. Initially, Savio's official cause of death was found to be accidental drowning. In 2009, in light of Stacy Ann's disappearance, Peterson was indicted for Savio's murder after a second autopsy showed evidence of a struggle. Steven Robert Dahl (born November 20, 1954) is an American radio personality. He is the owner and operator of the Steve Dahl Network, a subscription-based podcasting network. Dahl gained a measure of national attention after organizing and hosting Disco Demolition Night at Comiskey Park. Originally, Dahl broadcast with Detroit stations WABX and WWWW and later with Chicago stations WCKG, WDAI, WLUP, WMVP and WLS.
