''The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again'' (also known as ''The Rocky Horror Picture Show Event'' and ''The Rocky Horror Picture Show'') is a 2016 American musical comedy television film. It is a tribute to and remake of the cult classic 1975 film of the same name and directed by Kenny Ortega, using the original script written by Richard O'Brien and Jim Sharman. Starring an ensemble cast led by Laverne Cox, the film premiered on the Fox network on October 20, 2016. Plot The plot of the tribute is fundamentally identical to the original film, with some additional scenes wrapped around the film. Richard Hartley (composer)
Richard Neville Hartley is an English composer, best known for his work on ''The Rocky Horror Show''. He grew up in Holmfirth. Career In the 1970s he began a long association with Richard O'Brien. Hartley was originally part of the four-piece band for ''The Rocky Horror Show''. He went on to arrange the score for the London Stage and film adaptation (''The Rocky Horror Picture Show'') as well as its follow-up ''Shock Treatment'', and then worked with O'Brien on another, as yet unproduced, sequel, '' Revenge of the Old Queen''. Donald Brochu is an American film editor. Career After assisting in the editing of a Cheech and Chong film in 1981 and 1982, Don Brochu was given an opportunity by Hal Ashby to be in charge of the editing himself.
