Anna Odell
Anna Carolina Odell (born 3 October 1973) is a Swedish artist and film director. She won two Guldbaggen Award for in 2014 for her film '' The Reunion'' in the categories Best Film and Best Screenplay. In 2009, her film ''Okänd, kvinna 2009-349701'' received a lot of attention as it includes a faked suicide attempt on Liljeholmsbron in Stockholm. Both films have been nominated and presented at the Venice Biennale Film Festival. Early life Odell studied at the Gerlesborgsschool in Tanum, Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design and at Kungliga Konsthögskolan in Stockholm. Career and controversy The film ''Okänd, kvinna 2009-349701'' (English: ''Unknown, woman 2009-349701'') was Odell's examination work at Konstfack. Erik Ehn (actor)
Erik Ehn is an American playwright and director known for proposing the Regional Alternative Theatre movement. The former dean of theater at CalArts, the California Institute of Arts, he is the former head of playwriting and professor of theatre and performance studies at Brown University. His published works include ''The Saint Plays'', ''Beginner'', and ''13 Christs''. Ehn is a playwright, educator and theorist of contemporary theater. Nearly a decade ago, he collaborated with Janie Geiser on ''Invisible Glass,'' which is itself inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's short story, " William Wilson." Anders Berg (actor)
Andrew Berg (Anders Berg; October 16, 1869 — March 1, 1939) was an immigrant to the District of Alaska who was a prominent fisher, hunter, and trapper. He became the first licensed big game guide in Alaska. Early life and emigration Andrew Berg was born Anders Berg on October 16, 1869, in Nykarleby, Finland, then part of the Russian Empire. His father Johan and mother Lovisa owned a small farm. The family also hunted and fished. Because of extreme poverty, Andrew left Finland in 1887 at the age of 16. Along with two other boys from his town, Berg sailed to Hull in England, before travelling to Liverpool by train. He was one of 500 emigrants that were to sail to New York City aboard the ''St. Andreas''. Because of a cholera outbreak, the ship instead sailed to Quebec.
