''The Red Line Archives'' is the ninth release by Industrial metal band Red Harvest. It was released on 14 April 2008. It is a compilation album released under the motto "Something new, something old, something borrowed, something cold". It consists of remixes, unreleased tracks and songs from previous releases, which have all been remastered. "Technokrate" is a mash-up of the songs "Teknocrate" (''Internal Punishment Programs'') and "Absolut Dunkel:Heit" (''Cold Dark Matter''). "Cyborg Era / Dead End" is a mash-up of "Death in Cyborg Era" (''Cold Dark Matter'') and ead End(''Sick Transit Gloria Mundi''). "The Central Sun - Part 1" is an ambient piece based on a sample from "Black Flowers Please" by Current 93. Red Harvest (band)
Red Harvest is a Norwegian industrial metal band from Oslo. Their 2002 album '' Sick Transit Gloria Mundi'' was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy and an alternative Grammy in the "Best Metal Album" category. Formed in 1989, they have released eight albums, two EPs, one live DVD, a split album with Zyklon, and a compilation album. History Formed in 1989 as a Slayer tribute band, the band released their first demo ''Ocultica'' that year, followed up by a second, ''Psychotica'', before releasing their debut album ''Nomindsland'' in 1992, which had distinctly thrash metal influences and aesthetics. Current 93
Current 93 are an English experimental music group, working since the early 1980s in folk-based musical forms. The band was founded in 1982 by David Tibet, who has been Current 93's only constant member. Background Tibet has been the only constant member in the group, though Steven Stapleton (of Nurse with Wound) has appeared on nearly every Current 93 release.
