Rage (also known as frenzy or fury) is intense, uncontrolled anger that is an increased stage of hostile response to a perceived egregious injury or injustice. Etymology Rage is from c. 1300, meaning "madness, insanity; fit of frenzy; rashness, foolhardiness, intense or violent emotion, anger, wrath; fierceness in battle; violence" (of storms, fire, etc.); from the Old French ''rage'' or ''raige'', meaning "spirit, passion, rage, fury, madness"; from 11th century Medieval Latin ''rabia''; from the Latin ''rabies'', meaning "madness, rage, fury," which is related to the Latin ''rabere'' "be mad, rave." There are many cognates. The Latin rabies, meaning "anger, fury", is akin to the Sanskrit "raag" (violence). The Vulgar Latin spelling of the word possesses many cognates when translated into many of the modern Romance languages, such as Spanish, Galician, Catalan, Portuguese, and modern Italian: ''rabia'', ''rabia'', ''ràbia'', ''raiva'', and ''rabbia'' respectively. Rage (1999 Film)
''Rage'' is a 1999 feature film directed and written by Nigerian-born Newton Aduaka. ''Rage'' is his debut feature. Fraser Ayres stars as Jamie, also known as Rage, a mixed-race, angry youth living on a grim council estate in South London. He is part of a rap trio with his two friends Godwin (Shaun Parkes) and Thomas ( John Pickard). Looking to escape through their music, they turn to crime in order to finance making a record. The first draft of the script was written in four days in 1996 by Aduaka. Although it had received some interest, it was only after the success of Aduaka's short ''On the Edge'' at the Cannes Film Festival in 1998 that making the film became a possibility. It nearly failed during principal photography due to the main finance being pulled just before filming began in September 1998. ''Rage'' premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 1999 and got its UK premiere at the London Film Festival in November of the same year. The distribution ... Extreme Ghostbusters
''Extreme Ghostbusters'' is an American animated television series based on the ''Ghostbusters'' franchise. It is a spin-off to the animated series ''The Real Ghostbusters''. The series originally aired on the syndicated Bohbot Kids Network's "Extreme Block" in 1997, and features a team of younger college-age Ghostbusters who are led by veteran Ghostbuster Egon Spengler. In some TV listings, the series was called ''Ghostbusters Dark''. Plot Set years after the end of ''The Real Ghostbusters'', lack of supernatural activity has put the Ghostbusters out of business. Each member has gone their separate way, except for Dr. Egon Spengler, who still lives in the firehouse to monitor the containment unit, take care of Slimer, further his studies and teach a class on the paranormal at a local college.
