''The Punisher'' (also known as ''The Punisher: Welcome Back, Frank'') is a 12-issue comic book limited series written by Garth Ennis with art by Steve Dillon and Jimmy Palmiotti which was published under the Marvel Knights imprint of Marvel Comics. Tim Bradstreet (born on February 16, 1967)is an American artist and illustrator, best known for his work on comic books, book covers, movie posters, roleplaying games and trading cards. Early life Tim Bradstreet was born February 16, 1967, in Cheverly, Maryland. Career Bradstreet entered the comic book industry in 1990, working with Tim Truman on ''Dragon Chiang''. Bradstreet’s work on White Wolf Publishing’s '' Vampire: The Masquerade'' garnered him much critical praise. This, in turn, led to the addition of many major comic book publishers to his clientele. ''The Punisher'' is an action adventure third-person shooter developed by Volition and published by THQ. It was released in 2005 for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, and Xbox; a mobile phone game was also developed by Amplified Games and released in 2004. The game stars the Marvel Comics antihero, The Punisher. After his family was murdered by the Mafia, Frank Castle devoted his life to the punishment of criminals. This is in contrast to limited series (a series intended to end after a certain number of issues thus limited), a one shot (a comic book which is not a part of an ongoing series), a graphic novel, or a trade paperback. However, a series of graphic novels may be considered ongoing as well. The term may also informally refer to a current or incomplete limited series with a predetermined number of issues.
