''Fishbone and the Familyhood Nextperience Present: The Psychotic Friends Nuttwerx'' is an album by alternative rock band Fishbone, released in 2000. It features a large number of special guests and is the only Fishbone album released on Disney's Hollywood Records. Whereas the band's previous album, the angry ''Chim Chim's Badass Revenge'', contained some of the band's heaviest moments, ''Psychotic Friends Nuttwerx'' is full of sunny reggae, ska and pop hooks that make it the most accessible Fishbone album to date. The album has cameos from H.R. of Bad Brains, Gwen Stefani, George Clinton, Rose Stone, Rick James, Flea, John Frusciante and Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Durga McBroom, best known for her work with Pink Floyd, and many others. John Frusciante
John Anthony Frusciante (; born March 5, 1970) is an American musician, best known as the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers across three stints since 1988. He has released 11 solo albums and 7 EPs, ranging in style from acoustic guitar to electronic music. Michael Peter Balzary (born October 16, 1962), known professionally as Flea, is an Australian-American musician and actor. He is a founding member and bassist of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. James Ambrose Johnson Jr. (February 1, 1948 – August 6, 2004), better known by his stage name Rick James, was an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, James began his musical career in his teenage years. He was in various bands before entering the U.S. Navy Reserve to avoid being drafted into the army. Rose Stone
Rose Stone (born Rosemary Stewart, March 21, 1945) is an American singer and keyboardist. She is best known as one of the lead singers in Sly and the Family Stone, a popular psychedelic soul/funk band founded by her brothers, Sly Stone and Freddie Stone. She often wore a platinum-colored wig while performing with the band, and was noted for her strong vocals. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993 as a member of Sly and the Family Stone. After the band's dissolution in 1975, "Sister Rose" (as she was also known) married Sly Stone's former manager/co-producer, Bubba Banks.
