The Proud Family
''The Proud Family'' is an American animated television series created by Bruce W. Smith that originally ran on Disney Channel from September 15, 2001, to August 19, 2005. A revival, known as '' The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder'', was announced in 2020 and made its premiere on Disney+ on February 23, 2022. Characters Main * Penny Proud (voiced by Kyla Pratt) is the main protagonist of the series, a 14-year-old girl who is usually embarrassed by her father, Oscar. Ned Arnel "Carlos" Mencía (born October 22, 1967) is a Honduran-American comedian, writer, and actor. ''The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder'' is an American animated television series created by Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar which premiered on Disney+ on February 23, 2022. It is a revival and soft reboot of ''The Proud Family'', which originally aired on Disney Channel from 2001 to 2005. In April 2022, Disney+ confirmed that the show's second season was in production.
