The Premise
''The Premise'' is an American anthology series created by B. J. Novak. It premiered on FX on Hulu on September 16, 2021. Synopsis Each episode tells a single character driven story about a current world situated issue. Episodes Production In July 2019, FX ordered a two-episode pilot order for an anthology created by B. J. Novak and produced by FXP. In May 2020, FX picked up the series. Lucas Hedges, Kaitlyn Dever, Jon Bernthal, and Boyd Holbrook were cast for pilot episodes in 2019 while Ben Platt, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Daniel Dae Kim, among others, were announced to be starring in the series in August 2021. During the summer TCA press tour, Novak shed light on his efforts to cast Jack Nicholson in the series and explained that they had scrapped the episode after they couldn't cast him. Anthology Series
An anthology series is a radio, television, video game or film series that spans different genres and presents a different story and a different set of characters in each different episode, season, segment, or short. These usually have a different cast in each episode, but several series in the past, such as '' Four Star Playhouse'', employed a permanent troupe of character actors who would appear in a different drama each week. Some anthology series, such as '' Studio One'', began on radio and then expanded to television. George Wallace (American Comedian)
George Henry Wallace (born July 21, 1952) is an American comedian and actor. Early life and education Wallace was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Mary Lou and George Wallace Sr. Wallace was educated at Lynwood Park Elementary School and Lynwood Park High School. His mother died when he was sixteen, prompting him to move to Ohio where he found a job with Firestone Tire. As part of the company's tuition reimbursement program, Wallace enrolled in the University of Akron, in Akron, Ohio. He studied transportation, marketing and advertising. Emily Jordan Bear (born August 30, 2001) is an American composer, pianist, songwriter and singer. After beginning to play the piano and compose music as a small child, Bear made her professional piano debut at the Ravinia Festival at the age of five, the youngest performer ever to play there.
