''The Predator: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'' is the score album to the 2018 film of the same name directed by Shane Black, who wrote the script with Fred Dekker, and is the fourth installment in the ''Predator'' franchise. The film is scored by Henry Jackman, the third composer to score for the franchise. Jackman also incorporated original themes composed by Alan Silvestri from the 1987 film. Henry Pryce Jackman (born 1974) is an English composer. He composed music for films such as '' Kong: Skull Island'', '' X-Men: First Class'', ''Winnie the Pooh'', ''Wreck-It Ralph'', ''Puss in Boots'', '' Monsters vs. Aliens'', '' Captain Phillips'', '' Kick-Ass'', '' Kick-Ass 2'', '' Big Hero 6'', ''The Interview'' and '' Detective Pikachu'', as well as the video games '' Uncharted 4: A Thief's End'' and ''Disney Infinity 2.0''. ''Predators'' is a 2010 American science fiction action film directed by Nimród Antal, written by Alex Litvak and Michael Finch and starring Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins, and Laurence Fishburne. It was distributed by 20th Century Fox. It is the third installment of the ''Predator'' franchise. The film follows an ensemble cast of characters including Royce (Adrien Brody), a mercenary who appears in an unidentified jungle among other proficient killers. They find that they have been abducted and placed on a planet that acts as a game reserve for two warring tribes of extraterrestrial killers, and actively look for a way to return to Earth.
