''The Power, The Passion'' is an Australian television daytime soap opera produced by the Seven Network in 1989. The series was devised to lure audiences away from American imports such as ''The Bold and the Beautiful'' and ''The Young and the Restless'' but failed to make an impact and was cancelled due to low ratings after 168 episodes. Bevan Lee
Bevan John Lee (born 7 November 1950) is an Australian writer and executive best known for creating the TV dramas '' All Saints'', ''Packed to the Rafters'', ''Winners & Losers'' and '' A Place to Call Home''. Career Lee was an actor before turning to writing, working his way up to be script producer of the TV serial '' Sons and Daughters''. He also rewrote the first episode of '' Home and Away'', a show which he has script produced at various stages over the years. George Mallaby (actor)
George Mallaby (4 November 1939 – 12 July 2004) was an English-born actor and screenwriter, best known for his roles in television in Australia and in his latter career in his native England. Life Mallaby was born in Hartlepool, United Kingdom, and moved to Australia with his parents when he was 16. His father was a policeman. Mallaby's first jobs were signwriting and crayfishing. He was married to Ruth Bass in 1968 and they divorced in 1975. He suffered a stroke in 1994, and subsequently used a wheelchair. He died of congestive heart failure in 2004. He was survived by his widow Lenice, sons Guy and Luke, and daughter Kirsti from his first marriage. Career Mallaby made his acting debut at the Adelaide Festival of Arts, but soon obtained TV roles in Melbourne. Joseph Peter Spano (born July 7, 1946) is an American actor best known for his roles as Lt. Henry Goldblume on ''Hill Street Blues'' and FBI Special Agent Tobias C. Fornell on '' NCIS''. He also voiced the Chuck E. Cheese (at the time Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre) character, Pasqually the Chef, from 1977–1983. Career Spano was a member of the San Francisco improv group The Wing, and in college debuted as Paris in a production of ''Romeo and Juliet'' in 1967. In 1968, he helped found the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, appearing in its first production, and stayed with the company for ten years.
